THE SHORT ANSWER
A solar panel gap seal is a T-shape EPDM rubber strip: the stem is pressed into the gap between two PV modules (or a module and its frame) and the cap covers the gap on the panel surface, keeping rain, dust and leaves out while the panels move with heat. Choose the section by gap width – our 5 standard sections cover gaps from about 10 to 28 mm (T-001 to T-006). EPDM is used because it stays elastic outdoors in sun, ozone and frost. We supply black as standard, other colours to order, from 10 m.

01Which solar panel seal size do I need?
Pick the section whose gap range matches your gap: T-002 for 10–11 mm, T-001 for 11–13 mm, T-005 for 15–19 mm, T-004 for 18–23 mm and T-006 for 26–28 mm.
02Why EPDM for solar panel seals?
EPDM keeps its elasticity outdoors – sun, ozone, rain and frost – so the seal keeps pressing on both module frames as they expand and contract.
03Can you make a section for my gap?
Yes – send the frame drawing or a photo of the gap next to a ruler; new sections are made to order and tooling is usually free.
