Choose EPDM for most outdoor door, window, vehicle and truck seals – it is weather-resistant, tough and economical. Choose silicone when the seal must handle high temperatures (above about +120 °C), must be clear or very soft, or must use a food-contact compound; it costs more and tears more easily.
