THE SHORT ANSWER
EPDM foam seal tape is a closed-cell EPDM sponge strip with a pressure-sensitive adhesive on one side, used to seal gaps in doors, windows, cabinets, enclosures and vehicles. Closed cells keep out water and air, and EPDM keeps the foam elastic outdoors (typically about –40 °C to +120 °C). It is not the same as double-sided mounting tape: seal tape is chosen by thickness, width and softness so it compresses about 20–40% in the gap. We supply rolls, profiled strips and cut sheet from 10 m.

01Is EPDM foam tape waterproof?
Closed-cell EPDM sponge does not absorb water; it seals as long as it is compressed along its whole length.
02Foam seal tape or double-sided mounting tape?
Seal tape fills and seals a gap; mounting tape bonds two parts. For sealing, choose a soft closed-cell foam sized to the gap.
03What thickness do I need?
About 20–40% thicker than the gap, so it compresses without stopping the door or lid from closing.
04What is the minimum order?
