A magnetic shower door seal is a clear PVC profile with a magnetic strip inside, fitted on each of the two glass edges that meet. The magnets pull the doors closed and the profiles seal the joint. Choose the profile by the angle where the doors meet (90°, 135° or 180°), the glass thickness and the gap between the two glass edges.
IllustrativePick the angle
| Angle | Enclosure |
|---|---|
| 180° | Two doors in one line (bi-fold or double door) |
| 135° | Doors of a neo-angle or pentagon enclosure |
| 90° | Corner entry – doors at right angles |
What to measure
- Glass thickness: 6, 8, 10 or 12 mm
- Gap between the two glass edges with doors closed
- Door height (cut length)
- Quantity of pairs
Fitting
Clean the glass edges, push one profile onto each door, close the doors and check that the magnets meet along the full height. Trim the ends square.
