A draft stopper is a loose or slide-on tube that lies against the door bottom – no tools, good for renters, but it can move. A door sweep is fixed to the door face and moves with it – the long-term fix. A double-foam bottom gasket slides under the door and seals both faces. For exterior doors a fixed sweep or threshold seal is the reliable option.

Side-by-side
| Type | How it seals | Fitting | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Loose draft stopper (snake) | Lies on the floor | None | Renters, temporary |
| Double-foam slide-on | Two foam tubes on both faces | Slides under the door | Interior doors, retail packs |
| Self-adhesive sweep | Silicone/TPE lip on the door face | Peel and stick | Interior doors |
| Screw-on sweep | Rubber or brush in a carrier | Screws | Exterior doors |
| Threshold / garage seal | Seal on the floor | Adhesive or screws | Garages, large gaps |

For retail and private label
Door bottom seals are usually sold in widths of common doors, packed on cards or in boxes under the buyer's brand. Send the widths, colours and packing you need; orders start from 10 m for strip and are quoted per piece for cut lengths.
Quick questions
Do draft stoppers really save energy?
They stop cold air under the door, which is often the biggest single draught in a room. A fixed sweep does the same job more reliably.
Can a door sweep go on a carpeted floor?
Use a soft silicone or brush sweep set so it just touches the carpet; a stiff rubber lip will drag.
Need a seal for this?
Send your section, gap size or a photo of the old seal – Dora replies usually within 2 hours. Door bottom seals are available from 10 m.
