The self-adhesive frame-side pile strip is one of our pile weatherstrip items: easy retrofit on window frames. Wool pile (brush) seals are dense fibre tufts on a narrow backing strip that slide into the track of a sliding window or door. We supply it from 10 m, in your size, colour and packing, or match it to your own section.

01How do I size a pile seal?
Measure the width of the groove it slides into (base width) and the distance to the surface it must touch (pile height). Choose a pile height about 0.5–1 mm more than the gap. See our pile height guide.
02What does the centre fin do?
A thin plastic fin inside the pile blocks air and water better than pile alone; finned pile is the usual choice for exterior sliding windows.
03How do you check quality before shipping?
Every order gets a dimension check against your drawing, a hardness test, a visual inspection of surface and colour, and photos at container loading. Details and photos are on our quality & partner factory page.
